Test Tube is used in laboratories and research facilities. Usually made from glass, they vary in shape and size depending on their intended purpose. Pour Test Tubes
1 Place the funnel into the container that you will be pouring the contents of the test tube into.
2 Pick up heated test tubes with the tongs by placing the test tube into the circle created in the tongs. Squeeze firmly around the test tube and lift it up, or if the test tube is cool, simply lift with your hands.
3 Tilt sideways in your hands or with the tongs over the funnel in the opposing container.
Clean Test Plastic Tube
1 Rinse the test tubes out with water, and scrub them out with a test tube brush.
2 Fill a large glass jar with germicidal cleaner, found in beauty and medical supply stores or online.
3 Set the test Tube in the jar, making sure that the cleaner fills the tubes. Allow the jar to stand overnight.
4 Rinse the test tubes thoroughly with distilled water. Allow to air dry.
